Name Information Robert M. Ashbaugh Electric Shop Instructor, 1955-1957 The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates wife's name as Margaret K. Ashbaugh and residence as 75 Boyd Drive. The SSDI lists 22 Robert Ashbaugh's, several from PA and OH, but none are listed as having a last residence in Mercer County. Of the seven from PA, none was born between 1897 and 1916. Marjorie M. Bailey Physical Education, Home Economics Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly lives in Texas The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates husband's name as Thomas S. Bailey. William M. Blough Music Director, 1955-1958 reportedly lives near his son in a nursing home in Michigan The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates wife's name as Olive Blough. The SSDI indicates an Olive Blough died in October 1987 while residing in Johnstown, PA, . Charles Casper Special Education Instructor, 1957-1958 The SSDI lists 60 Charles Casper's, six of whom are listed as having a last residence in PA, but none is in Mercer County. Olga L. Connelly Health, Physical Education Instructor, 1956-1958 The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates husband's name as John W. Connelly, and residence as 1315 Glenwood Drive, Sharpsville. Janet Mae Davis Secretary, 1956-1958 Ruth Drake Home Economics Instructor, 1956-1958 reportedly deceased The SSDI lists 150 Ruth Drake's, seven of whom are listed as having a last residence in PA, but none is in Mercer County. Margaret Elk Commercial Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly deceased The SSDI lists two Margaret Elk's, both of whom are from PA. One, with a last residence in Sharon, was born 6/14/01 and died 1/8/93. The other, whose last residence is not indicated, was born 5/2/21 and died 12/18/90. It may be that these two are mother and daughter, and that the obituary will identify if either is "our" Margaret. The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates a Michael Elk resided at 204 Daugherty Avenue, as did Margaret Elk, a teacher. Michael Elk, born 1/21/1877, died in Sharon in July, 1973. Frances Hayes Commercial Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly recently deceased The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates that Frances Hayes and Charles D. and Mary Hayes (presumably her parents) resided at 273 Logan Avenue. The SSDI lists 183 Frances Hayes, five of whom are listed as having a last residence in PA, but none is in Mercer County. Patricia Hayman English Instructor, 1957-1958 Robert F. Holt Mechanical Drawing Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly deceased 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates wife's name as Helen Holt and residence as 234 Service Avenue. Lauer. Nagy Home Economics Instructor, 1955-1956 Gloria Nolan Secretary, 1955-1956 Harry Russell Public Relations, 1955-1956 reportedly deceased The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates wife's name as Mildred V. Russell. The SSDI lists 342 Harry Russell's, 27 of whom are listed as having a last residence in PA, but none is in Mercer County. E. Vernece Saeger Latin Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly deceased The SSDI lists E Saeger, born 11/15/93, who died in July, 1980, and who last resided in Erie, PA 16502. William Shannon History Instructor, 1957-1958 reportedly alive George C. Stover Commercial Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly deceased The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates wife's name as Alice. The SSDI lists two George Stover's who had their SSN issued in PA but who have no last residence indicated. Their dates of birth and death are: 6/18/05 - 11/65, and 11/19/06 - 12/68. The SSDI lists Alice Stover, born 9/24/05, as residing in Sharon at the time of her death in June, 1977. Dorothy Weller Physical Education Instructor, 1955-1958 reportedly alive The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates she lived with Harriet Weller, the widow of "Plummer", at 85 South Oakland Avenue. The SSDI lists Harriet Weller as residing in Sharon at the time of her death in August 1979. William Wolfe Wood Shop Instructor, 1956-1957 The 1954 Sharon City Directory indicates William Wolfe resided at R.D. 2, Sharon, and was a mechanic at Wein Motor Company.
